GOOD NEWS ABOUT OUR SHERIFF DEPARTMENT...

Jail trusties helped further Habitat's cause

Dear Editor, Habitat for Humanity of Camden County wants to acknowledge a very hardworking group of people. The trusties from the Camden County Jail came out, under the supervision of Sgt. Todd, to help us prepare a lot for our upcoming Women's Build. They really worked so hard and saved us quite a bit of money. Their service to the community is important and valued. Regardless of how they came to us, we thank each one of them.

The following was in the Tribune & Georgian. I am glad to see some of the hard work the sheriff's department has been doing for years finally being spoken about instead of the constant negative that has been spotlighted lately. Folks remember there are Deputies and Jail deputies who are risking their lives everyday for you and me to live in a safe area. Lets look at the news Jacksonville and Brunswick are riddled with Crime and Murder. Can you think of the last murder in this county. So do you honestly think that it is fair to them that a couple of disgruntle citizens should be allowed to try and tear them apart for the simple fact that they have a grudge against the Sheriff for what ever reason they feel justifies their means. Don't support the hate. It is not healthy for anyone in this county. It will also not bring any good to the county. So let me step back off my soap box cause that was not the reason I posted this blog today.

Why do you keep saying I am disgruntled? What do I have to be digruntled about. I am sorry that you support illegal activity by our Sheriff. And it is not jsut started, people have been talking about these activities for years. I was the first to show real proof of that. You can't handle the truth. Prove to us all that you are not inmate or Sheriff's deputy and then matbe some one will take you seriously.

Besides, using trustee's on these projects is illegal by Federal law. These inmates are to work on gevernment property only.
