Sexual Predator Captured
A registered sexual predator who Camden County Sheriff's Office said was wanted on charges of sexual assault in Florida and on theft and failing to register as a sex offender in Georgia was arrested in Charlton County Wednesday afternoon. The incident began on Monday, when investigators believe Albert Steven Handlowhich, 35, whose last known address was Point Peter Road in St. Marys, stole a woman’s purse from her vehicle in the Winn Dixie parking lot in Kingsland. Authorities said they believe Handlowhich used the woman’s ATM card to pay for a room Monday night at the Day’s Inn in Kingsland. The owner of the hotel became suspicious and wrote down Handlowhich’s license plate number, according to officers. When the owner of the purse reported the theft of the card to the bank, they were able to determine that the card had been used at the Day’s Inn and called the motel. The owner of the Day’s Inn provided the license plate of Handlowhich’s vehicle to the bank manager who called law enforcement. Handlowhich remains in custody at the Camden County Public Safety Complex where he faces charges of theft, fugitive from justice and failing to register as a sex offender.

S.O.S's Thoughts: Glad to see citizens of Camden County will not stand silent in the face of crime. Also a note to all criminals, why do you run from something you can not escape. ( Sure Rick will have something to say about the last line)
They are going to get you sooner or later. Keep up the good work Deputies.

S.O.S's Second Thought: Oh wait... We should let these guys go due to the overcrowding at the jails. Don't want politics to get in the way of Justice.

I have no problems with anything you said. Except for your second thought.

Can you tell me why Bill said we didn't need a new jail or even to add on to the existing jail not even six months ago?

Any idea!!!!!!!!
